Baked French Toast with Sweet Pear Topping





We decided to go with a "brunch" theme for Easter Sunday and this was a great dish! Don't do what I did and think that the prepared "pear topping" goes inbetween the layers of cinnamon raisin bread, you're supposed to use a jar of pear preserves for that. The pear topping is supposed to be used to garnish the toast when it comes out of the oven, we ended up using maple syrup instead and it was just great! Enjoy
