This gelatin salad was truly delicious! The combination of the crushed pineapple, blueberry pie filling and the black cherry gelatin was just great, and the cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla and sugar topping put it over the top! I garnished it with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and a few mint leaves left over from the tea, this is a very easy recipe and a must do again soon! Enjoy!
My name is Michael and my good friend Cathy and I have enjoyed preparing holiday meals and get togethers for friends and family over the last several years. I watch the Food Network channel often and that is where I discovered Paula. It was her first show and I fell in love with her and her down home cooking style. I started preparing Paul's recipes for different occasions and everyone raved. Cathy started looking up Paula’s recipes and bringing them to our get togethers also. Soon most all of our dishes were Paula's. For the past several years we have made hundreds of her delicious recipes. Today for Easter we prepared a Paula Deen brunch menu. As we sat feasting on all her luscious foods we decided to share our experiences with all of you! Thus the “Weekends with Paula Deen” blog was born. We have decided to prepare Paula’s recipes every weekend for the next year. We invite you to share in the experience. Be sure to check in for our daily postings of our weekends in the kitchen with Paula. We hope to encourage you to try Paula’s great foods. Her recipes have never let us down. Join us and receive compliments and rave reviews from your friends and family!
